Current Foundation Directors & More Information - Areas Where You Can Make Improvements

What is the CLK Foundation?

The CLK Foundation is a non-profit organization formed specifically to support students of the CLK school system. The Foundation encourages alumni, area residents, and friends to provide financial support for the school district.

The Foundation Board of Directors is compromised of citizens from the district and alumni from out of the area. The Board has the responsibility to ensure the proper allocation of your gift for the maximum benefit of the students.

A Commitment to our Future

There is much to be proud of in reviewing the progress of the CLK Foundation. It's been a great year - one filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and academic achievement. In the May 2006 graduation class, 49 out of 95 seniors qualified for the State of Michigan academic scholarship promoted by Governor Granholm. This is based upon test scores in a standardized statewide test (MEAP test). The CLK students ranked 1st in the Upper Peninsula and performed at a considerably higher level than the statewide average.

We invite you to join us in being a part of the CLK School District's future, as evidenced by our new buildings, enhancements to our historic structure, campus beautification, and technological advances. By joining the Foundation through your gift support, a CLK education will continue to be a symbol of pride to alumni, students and the community.

This year many students benefited from Foundation allocations totaling $14,716.
